Never more lessons than needed
At LesDirect you never follow lessons longer than needed. If you have never driven before, you’ll need between 45 - 50 driving hours in order to pass your driving test. When you have a little driving experience it will speed up the process.
You determine your own pace, with your own lesson plan, suitable to your study-or work schedule.
Especially for expats or immigrants who already are in possesion of a foreign licence, we have our succesful 'Arrive & Drive' program. With this unique driving crash course you can speed up the process to get your Dutch driver's licence within only a week for manual ánd automatic car.
Start driving lessons
At driving school LesDirect you always start with a first introduction lesson or immediately with the Starter Pack. For Arrive & Drive go overhere. You can start taking driving lessons at the age of 16 and a half. To do the practical exam you need to be 17 years old. To do the practical exam you need to pass your theory exam and fill out a health declaration. You can start the theory at the age of 16.
Follow your progress online
Follow your progress completely digitally. At the start of your driving education you’ll receive a login code to your own LesDirect account. This way you can easily follow how far you’ve come with your driving education. Very transparant, also to your parents or others who are interested in your progress. You can easily see when your lessons start and you’ll receive a reminder by mail.

Maximum speed limit on Dutch motorways to 100 km / h. Is that bad?
The maximum speed goes down on all motorways in the Netherlands during the day. Between 6:00 am and 7:00 pm you are not allowed to go any faster than 100 km per hour. In the evenings you can only go faster on the roads where a maximum speed of 120 or 130 km per hour now applies.
